Frequently Asked Questions
We want to make your elopement as relaxing and enjoyable as possible but that will only happen when you know what you’re in for. Below are some answers to the most common questions we receive from our couples. If you need more information, please reach out. We’re here to help.
-
All you need to do is make sure you are in Queenstown a day or two before your elopement day, have somewhere to get ready and book your evening dining experience. We take care of the rest.
-
At least four days, arriving a day or two before your wedding date and staying at least two days afterwards. This gives us some wiggle room to reschedule in case of bad weather.
-
Yes you most certainly can. We can arrange for your partner to meet us at a location for a first look shoot or, if you have space to get ready separately at your accommodation, we can do it there so you can travel to the ceremony together. Hair and makeup generally takes two hours. If your partner isn’t getting made up, they can pop out for a walk and a bite to eat while you are getting ready. We will organise the logistics with you closer to your wedding date.
-
We sure do! Check out our favourite dining spots in Queenstown here. This town is full of delicious restaurants and bars.

We find it’s best you do your accommodation research as there are many different types of accommodation here in Queenstown to suit your needs and budget. There are a few hidden gems that we rate, which we’ve detailed here. If you’re staying outside the Queenstown region there may be travel fees for all vendors, have a look on this map.

-
Of course, it’s all about you! Once your wedding date is confirmed we’ll send you a very basic booking form that includes an option to add floral inspiration images and/or a Pinterest board. We’ll use this to match your style with our amazing local florist.
-
We ask that you save a couple of inspirational images to show your stylist on the day of your wedding. We use an incredibly talented and creative stylist whose work is amazing and we invite you to trust the process.

Car hire, taxis, Uber and public transport are all available. If you are staying central you can walk to most bars and restaurants. Driving here is super easy so don’t be afraid to hire a car.

We have you covered. If you are set on the date we have beautiful umbrellas, alternative ground and indoor locations. If your date is flexible we do our best to reschedule vendors for a better day. We suggest staying a couple of days after your elopement day as a “just in case”.
